UTS (Universal Transcription Services) is a multi-speciality transcription service provider
located in Duluth, Minnesota, providing transcription services to hospitals, clinics, law
enforcement agencies, legal offices, etc. The UTS partnership with MedQuist
over the past several years has included many technological advances, including a state of
the art VXP dictation/transcription system. This enables UTS to offer both dictation and
transcription of reports using the latest technology with minimal capital investment for
their many prestigious clients. It also eliminates the need for costly equipment upgrades

Facilities can dictate via telephone line, portable digital dictation units and PDAs, which
can be customized depending on the clients needs. Dictated reports are downloaded via secure
and encrypted transmission. Distribution of documents can be via e-mail, fax or on-site
remote printing. UTS also offers long-term storage of transcribed documents.
